Globally, the general population's trust in business, media, government, and NGOs has hit a record low.
Edelman, a U.S. based PR firm, annually conducts and releases a trust survey. The report is widely respected and referenced, as the survey is conducted across 28 countries with 33,000 + respondents.
This year, Edelman finds "trust in crisis" across the globe. There are some really interesting stats and findings within the report. The lack of trust for government and corporate institutions is nothing new, but the depth of skepticism from citizens across the world is interesting, even shocking at times.
