We want you to feel welcome to participate in The Digital Abstract community. Your thoughts are appreciate and encouraged. Our readers are diverse; all a mix of nationalities, backgrounds, professions, values, and opinions. To honor our readers and to encourage a valuable exchange of thoughts, ideas, and opinions, we have adopted a set of guidelines for posting comments on The Digital Abstract.

The Digital Abstract and its moderators reserve the explicit right to remove comments and to ban individuals from commenting that violate the set of guidelines below. 

1. Spam and Promotion

Comments deemed to be spam or strictly promotional will be delete.

2. Harassment, Threats and Belligerence

Any comment or series of comments that are deemed threatening to any individual, The Digital Abstract or 3rd party will be promptly removed and reported.     

3. Disclosure of Personal Information

Posting your personal information or anyone else's personal information is strictly prohibited. If you wish to get in touch with another commentator, please contact us. Then we can arrange communication if both parties have a mutual interest. 

4. Offensive Language or Media

Any comment deemed to offensive will be deleted and that user will be banned. This may include profanity, pornography, misleading and libelous language. 

5. Respect Other Individuals

 Comments that target an individual commentator with unnecessary aggression, repetitive mentions or profanity will be deleted. Please engage in respectful discussion. 

6. Off Topic Comments and Trolling

Any comment that is deemed off-topic will be deleted. Trolling another user or The Digital Abstract is strictly prohibited. Anyone deemed to be "trolling" will have their IP logged and will be banned from using or accessing The Digital Abstract.

This Policy Can Change at Any Time
